On Wednesday afternoon, the Ave Maria University ran into a Webber International University (3-2) team that was eager to avenge a 9-5 setback last Thursday night. The Warriors put a crooked number on the scoreboard in five of the eight innings and pounded fifteen hits in leading them to a 15-5 victory.

Leading the Gyrenes (6-3) at the plate were Gabe Loweree (FR, El Paso, TX), who collected three hits, scored two runs and had an RBI, and Carlos Padron (FR, Miami, FL) who collected two hits, scored a run and drove in two runs with a 3rd inning single to centerfield.

The two teams complete the season series on Saturday, with a noon doubleheader in Babson Park, FL.
