Gyrenes Drop Two to Trinity Christian College

The Gyrenes were handed 10-2 and 7-5 losses yesterday versus Trinity Christian College. The Gyrenes remain above .500 with a 14-13 record heading into Friday's doubleheader against Doane College. The doubleheader will be played in Babson Park, Florida at Webber International University's baseball stadium.

In the opener, Gabe Loweree, Brian Trymbiski, Carlos Padron, and Edgardo Balentine each had a hit for the Gyrenes. Freshman Cody Muren threw 3.2 innings of relief for AMU and struck out 4 while walking just 1. He did not allow an earned run. 

In game two, the Gyrenes were able to manage just 3 hits. Carlos Padron hit his third homer of the season. Gabe Loweree and Pete Lesniewski had hits as well. Sophomore Justin James threw 2 innings of relief collecting 4 strikeouts without allowing a runner on base.
