Brad Rumsey begins his first season with Ave Maria’s football program serving as Offensive Line Coach. Rumsey joins Coach Barry Fagan whom he played under at Hillsdale College in Michigan.
Rumsey attended Hillsdale College from 2004 to 2008 graduating with a B.S. in physical education and biology. As part of the Hillsdale Charger football team, Rumsey was the team’s primary long-snapper for 4 seasons as well as providing quality depth along the offensive line, earning an NCAA Division 2 Varsity letter all four years. After graduation at Hillsdale he was an Assistant Defensive Backs Coach, Offensive Scout Team Coach, Assistant Long Snapping Coach as well as overseeing off-season workouts and working with recruits.
Rumsey served as both Strength and Conditioning Coach and Offensive/Defensive Line Coach at his alma mater, Concord High School (Concord Michigan). While at Concord, Rumsey’s team went to the playoffs after three previous unsuccessful seasons.
Brad brings an immense passion for the game of football to AMU and an intense focus on the sport. He resides in Ave Maria.
