Gyrenes Drop Game to #11 Embry-Riddle

The AMU Men's Basketball Team lost Tuesday against Sun Conference leader Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The final was 83-60 putting AMU at an 8-12 overall record and 2-6 TSC record. ERAU improved to 18-4 overall and 7-1 in The Sun Conference.

Chris Scanlan came off the bench to score 12 points in 7 minutes of action. Teammate Jimmy Torney had 10 on the night with 7 rebounds, an assist, and a block before sitting with 5 fouls. Embry-Riddle took over the first half of play outscoring the Gyrenes by 19 points. AMU did a better job in the second half to score 35, but ERAU had done all the damage they would need and walked away with the 83-60 Sun Conference win. 

The Gyrenes play St. Thomas University in Miami on Saturday at 7 p.m.
