The Gyrenes brought down the Florida Memorial Lions Wednesday night to improve their record to 6-9 in The Sun Conference. They sit 12-15 overall heading into their final home game on Saturday the 20th against St. Thomas University at 4 p.m. Florida Memorial fell to 7-8 in the conference and 9-19 on the season.

Leading AMU was Dylan Fugate with 19 points on 8 of 14 shooting. Marc Rozanski scored 14 and Colin Voreis scored 10. The Gyrenes hit 54 percent of their shots to outscore the Lions 70-63 . 

Florida Memorial's George Gray led all scorers with 23 points, and Matthew Rolle made 21 points.
