Coming from IMG Academy Vivas was a member of the of the Mexican junior national team 2007 & 2008...Helped his team to a second place finish at the Basketball National Championships in Mexico...Voted the MVP of the Junior National Tournament in 2008... In 2008 was named to the All-American Shoot out at the University of Louisville...In 2006 was named a top 50 basketball player in his country for the Adidas Camp...In 2007 was a IMG Select Team member chosen to play in the All-American Shoot-out at Kansas state University...Played in the All-American Shoot-out at University of Louisville in 2008...In 2005 was a member of the national championship team Opus Dei in Mexico...Selected by CONADE (national Commission for Sports in Mexico) as one of the top 100 junior athletes in Mexico...In 2004 was a state champion in the track and field 800 meter.
