Miguel Vera, a graduate from Imokalee HS, is the 6th student-athlete signing with AMU. Miguel's accomplishments are:

• 4 years varsity soccer - Captain on Junior and Senior years
• 2006/07 Best Midfielder Award
• 2007/08 MVP
• 2007/08 Collier County All Soccer Player
• 2009 SWFL All-Star Senior Team
• 2008 2nd place on the 3v3 National Tournament

Coach Santos-Zanelli comments: "I've seen Miguel playing for a long time and know his qualities inside and outside the field. He is a tremendous Midfielder that can also play Forward because he is fast and really skillful. Miguel can also take free kicks like few other guys in the area can do - I know he is going to bring the "Folha Seca" back to our games."
