The Ave Maria University Men's Soccer team beat The Sun Conference opponent Southeastern University by a final score of 2-1.

Freshman Christian Paz led the Gyrenes offense past the visiting Southeastern Fire scoring the Gyrene's two goals. Last Saturday, Paz scored 3 goals versus Florida College in what was the Gyrene's second victory of the season over Florida College. Captain goalkeeper, Matt Mullally, led the defense with 10 saves.

This was the second conference win for the Gyrenes, and their conference record now stands at 2-3. Their overall record is 5-3. The Gyrenes will play at home tomorrow, Tuesday September 29th. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. versus Clearwater Christian College.
