We would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to Coach Luis Zanelli for three great years as AMU's Head Men's Soccer Coach. We wish Coach Zanelli many years of continued success with his new business venture.

"After three wonderful years coaching the men's soccer team for Ave Maria, it is with some nostalgia that I announce my resignation in order to further support my wife, Pita, in our business of constructing socially responsible forestry projects in the Amazon jungles of my native South America. My time with Ave has been most challenging, as together with the help of a growing administration and the boys, we made a difficult yet successful transition from a club level team to the NAIA. Together we have enjoyed some wins and some losses, but have always moved forward with comraderie, teamwork and lessons well learned.
