Men’s soccer coach Tyler Rosser is proud to announce the signing of Cameron Popik from Strongsville, Ohio.

Brother of sophomore midfielder Colby Popik, Cameron is a versatile defender who has won several NACA national championships with his high school home school soccer club, Hearts. A captain on Hearts, Popik will not only bring great playing abilities to the school, but also great leadership qualities.

Coach Rosser says, “Popik will be a great addition to the Ave Maria University family. I could not ask for a better young man to come and play for us. He has great technical ability and great vision. He will be a leader on the field, off the field, and in the local community as well.” Popik says that he is very thankful to his parents for supporting his love of sport growing up. He is excited to continue to help build the AMU soccer program and can’t wait to step on the field next fall.
