Ave Maria University Athletic Department and Don Imbus of Coastal Carts in Fort Myers, Florida have formed a partnership that has provided a utility cart for the program. Don, a resident of Ave Maria, FL, is familiar with the layout of the campus and the need for transportation to and from the different facilities.

The athletic program has grown from 9 varsity sports to 18 over the course of a year and the demand for getting equipment to each of the sport’s facilities has equally grown. Athletic Trainer Chris Fertal is also feeling the demand for covering all of these 18 sports, but with the new utility cart, getting his training equipment to each sport is a little easier. The rest of the athletic department also gains a tremendous benefit from the mobile addition. Giving athletic recruits a tour of the campus and meeting the transportation needs of the coaches and staff are a couple of the added benefits.
