Freshman Lilla Lukacs led AMU with 8 kills and 14 digs despite a losing effort versus NCAA Division II Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Freshman Lilla Lukacs led AMU with 8 kills and 14 digs despite a losing effort versus NCAA Division II Palm Beach Atlantic University.

The Ave Maria University Volleyball Team was defeated 3-0 in games of 8-25, 16-25, 15-25 on the road Wednesday at Palm Beach Atlantic.

Leading AMU was freshman Lilla Lukacs who had 8 kills and 14 digs in the match. Other highlights for AMU were Megan Arago's 14 set assists and Kayla Sterling had 4 kills. PBA's had 7 kills and 5 service aces for the Lady Sailfish. With the loss, AMU drops to 2-4 overall while PBA improves to 4-0. 

The Lady Gyrenes square off next versus Sun Conference opponent Webber International University on the road. The game will begin at 7 p.m. in on Webber International's campus in Lake Wales, Florida.
