Saira Morgan has been named Ave Maria University's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending 2-7-2010.

Senior forward Saira Morgan paced the Lady Gyrenes with a solid overall game in the 73-62 win over St. Thomas University. Morgan, who is the only senior on her team, celebrated her "Senior Night" scoring 12 points with 8 rebounds. She made all of her shots in the game going 3 of 3 from the field and 6 of 6 at the line.
