Daniel Vivas has been named Ave Maria University's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending 2-14-2010.

The Mexico City, Mexico native led AMU with 9 rebounds against Northwood University on February 12th. He scored 5 points in 27 minutes played with an assist and a steal. One day later, Vivas handed out 6 assists in a 88-74 home victory over Johnson and Wales University. He bucketed 10 points on a perfect 4 of 4 in the field and 2 of 2 at the free throw line.
