Gabe Loweree has been named Ave Maria University's Male Athlete of the Week after having three multi-hit games over the weekend. The Gyrenes split a pair of doubleheaders to Doane College on Friday and Spring Arbor University on Saturday.

In game one versus Doane, Loweree was 2 for 4 with a run scored. Against Spring Arbor in Clearwater, Florida, the freshman went 2 for 3. In game two, Loweree went 2 for 3 again with two doubles.
