Sandy Jenkins
As well as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week, Jenkins was named The Sun Conference's Female Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
She led the Lady Gyrenes past Robert Morris University with 18 points and nine rebounds, and then past conference opponent Florida Memorial University with 22 points and 15 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season. Ave Maria moved up two spots to #23 in the NAIA national poll following the pair of wins.
