Ave Maria University Expanding Athletic Programs

Ave Maria University is accepting applications for the following Full Time Coaching Positions: Head Women’s Volleyball Coach, and a part time  Sport Information Director.

1. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruitment of student-athletes, academic monitoring, fund-raising and administrative duties.
2. Qualifications include: thorough knowledge of sport with previous collegiate experience a plus, an understanding of our catholic faith and our overall university mission.
3. Volleyball will be entering their second season of competition.
4. Baseball and Softball are under consideration moving from Club Level to Intercollegiate in the 2009/2010 season.
5. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
6. We are a member of the NAIA Sun Conference.
7. Ave Maria University is a Liberal Arts College in the catholic tradition. Our entrance requirements are a 1580 3-part SAT or 22 ACT. Over 90% of our students are catholic with 70% attending daily mass.
8. All positions are expected to quickly develop into full-time positions dependent upon strength of program and recruiting success.
