Ave Maria University is excited and pleased to announce the hiring of Coach Mary Reed who joins us from Jacksonville, Florida where she has lived for the past 12 years. Coach Reed earned a BA degree in Physical Education and graduated from Newberry College, Newberry SC. Coach Reed earned Varsity letters in Volleyball, Basketball and Softball.

Coach Mary Reed has been coaching volleyball as well as other sports and teaching Physical Education for the past 15 years. She has worked in the health and wellness field as a personal trainer and wellness director.

Coach Reed is married to Tracy Reed who is an internationally recognized golf instructor. Coach Reed has two sons, Jeremy, a dancer with the San Francisco Ballet company and Joshua, a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.
