Volleyball is pleased to have signed Christianne Ludwick for the 2009 season. Ludwick, a 6'0" outside hitter / middle blocker, will join the 2009 Gyrenes having played the last four years at Bethlehem Central High under Coach Lisa Kniffin. She also played with the North Country Albany Juniors Volleyball Club for Coach Patty Blacklock where in 2007 she was invited to play with 18's National Team at Junior Olympics National Championship Tournament.
Ludwick's large list of accolades include being a three time Times Union All Star as well as a three time Suburban Council All Star. She was named her high school's Most Valuable Player twice, 2007 and 2008. During her reign as Captain she led Bethlehem Central High to its first Sectional Championship victory since 1982.
Ludwick is the daughter of Richard and Melynda Ludwick. She is an excellent student who has received awards in drawing and fashion, and is involved in Key Club and S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions). Christianne is an impressive student-athlete, and AMU is excited to have her on campus.
