The Ave Maria University Women's Volleyball Team was defeated Saturday at Embry-Riddle University.  The Lady Gyrenes are now 6-10 overall and 4-8 in The Sun Conference while Embry-Riddle remains unbeaten in The Sun Conference at 13-0 and 16-4 overall.

Adriana Viana had 6 kills, and Saira Morgan had 5. Morgan also led the Lady Gyrenes with 5 digs and a .125 hitting percentage.

AMU will travel to Jacksonville, FL, October 16th to take on the Edward Waters College Tigers in a Sun Conference game. The first match is set for 2 p.m.
