The Ave Maria University Volleyball Team defeated the visiting Florida Memorial University Lions 3-0 at the Donahue Academy Gymnasium. The final scores were 25-14, 25-15, 25-18. Ave Maria improved their record to 6-9 in the conference and 8-11 overall. Florida Memorial dropped to 2-12 in the conference and 3-13 overall.

The 3-0 victory was the seventh shutout victory of the season for the Lady Gyrenes.

Seniors Adriana Vianna and Saira Morgan led the attack with 10 kills and 9 kills. Morgan also contributed 5 blocks, while senior Carissa Posch had 6 blocks on the night. Freshman Christianne Ludwick had 5 kills.

AMU will next host Webber International University on October 30th at 7 p.m. in a The Sun Conference matchup.
