Prior to AMU:
Transferred from AMU from Saint Petersburg Community College…Started for SPCC for two years…As a freshman helped the Trojans to a 26-9 overall record a first place conference finish and a national ranking of 16th…Santos collected 298 kills and 158 blocks in 111 games played…She also collected 116 digs and 27 aces as a middle hitter…In 2006 as a sophomore Santos helped the Trojans to a 28-9 overall record and a second First place conference finish…The Trojans were ranked 16th in the nation…. collected 381 kills and 233 blocks ranking third in the nation in 120 games played…She also collected 158 digs and 27 aces as a middle hitter...Santos earned at SPC a two time First Team All-Conference Team honors in 2005 & 2006…In 2005 she was named Player of the Year NJCAA…Received All-State and All-American Honors in 2005….She was named All-Tournament Team in 2005 & 2006 at Miami Dade Community College Tournament, Saint Petersburg Tournament and was named All-Tournament at Pasco Community College.
Prep:
For many years past High School in Brazil, Santos was a part of a missionary school in which she was a teacher to the youth of her country.
Personal:
From Sao Paulo, Brazil…Majoring in Political Science…Hopes to attend Ave Maria University School of Law after she graduates from AMU.
