Coach Bob Batson today announced the signing of the ninth player of the 2009 class, Sandy Jenkins from Holly Hills, Florida. Sandy excelled playing girls' basketball at Father Lopez High School in Holly Hills, Florida and played one year at St. Pete College in St. Petersburg, Florida. Sandy is a 6' guard and is expected to help the Gyrenes as they enter their first year of play in the Sun Conference.
