The women's basketball team continues to grow. Brittany Phillips will attend AMU and play basketball for the Gyrenes. Brittany is a recent graduate of Patch American High School in Stuttgart, Germany. Brittany averaged over 9 points per game and 11 rebounds per game while being named to the All European Team. Brittany was team captain. Brittany also starred on the Top Gun Elite Europe Open Division girls team this summer. Brittany will major in Biology at AMU. Coach Bob Batson stated that Brittany will add depth to a young squad he is looking forward to the start of the season this fall.
