Northwood Walks Out With Victory At AMU

Northwood University's Women's Basketball Team outlasted the Lady Gyrenes on their home court 62-51. The loss moves AMU to 8-9 overall and 6th place in the nine-team Sun Conference. Northwood remains undefeated in league play with a 4-0 TSC record, and improved their overall record to 11-7. 

AMU was down just 2 points at the half, but were unable to hold on down the stretch. Carey Fullilove tallied 17 points to lead all scorers in the game. She was 5 of 7 shooting with a three-pointer and a perfect 6 for 6 at the line.  Freshman standout, Emily Huber scored 11 on 4 for 10 shooting while dishing out 7 assists.

Their next game will be Saturday, January 16th at 2 p.m. before the men's home game at 4 p.m. The Lady Gyrenes face off against fellow conference newcomer Johnson and Wales University in the Donahue Academy Gym.
