The Lady Gyrenes finished the season strong with a convincing 82-59 win over Edward Waters College. The game was played at Ribault High School.

Emily Huber and Erika Derks finished the season strong with 24 points and 20 points respectively. Sandy Jenkins and Carey Fullilove each scored 11 points while Saira Morgan closed out her career with 10 rebounds and 6 points. The Lady Gyrenes finished the season 17-13 and 8-6 in The Sun Conference good for 4th place in the conference and the first winning season for any varsity team in AMU's short athletic history.
