Ave Maria womens' basketball coach, Bob Batson announced the signing today of three more women's basketball players bringing the 2009 signing class to four.
Joining Emily Huber from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, the USA Today's #1 girls high school basketball team, are Suzy Donovan, Samantha Stipan and Kelsea DeGrandpre.
Suzy Donovan is a guard and will play both women's basketball and women's golf at AMU. Suzy is from Middletown, Delaware and attended Aquinas Academy in Bear, Delaware where she was a multi sport athlete, competing in basketball, volleyball and golf. Suzy scored over 1,000 points in her high school career.
Samantha Stipan will play forward for AMU. Sam is from Muskego Wisconsin and played for Muskego High School. Sam is a multi sport athlete competing in basketball and track. Her basketball team was ranked 7th in the State her junior year and her track team was a regional finalist.. She is a pre med major.
Kelsea DeGrandpre will play forward for AMU Kelsea is from New Ipswich, New Hampshire and attended Mascenic Regional High School where she was a multi sport athlete, competing in basketball, volleyball, track and softball. Kelsea will major in Biology.
