Head Women's Soccer Coach Julie Cosden
Head Coach Julie Cosden is in her third season as a coach at Ave Maria University starting this year as the first ever Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach for the Gyrenes. Prior to the varsity position Cosden has coached the AMU women’s club team building a program to compete at the collegiate level.
Cosden started working in the academia world from the start after her graduation from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC with a B.S.B.A. in Finance (2003). She became the Head Librarian at the Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls and started pursuing graduate studies in Theology at St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia until 2005.
After two years, she decided to transition to working with young adults at the college level and became the Head AMU women’s club soccer program coach and Residence Hall Director both under the Department of Student Life. Cosden has recently continued her transition in student life and currently is the Director of Student Life on campus. She resides in Ave Maria, Florida.
