Coach Joe Zakowicz
Director
Coach Zakowicz, the Head Soccer Coach at Ave Maria University, brings a wealth of experience both in the collegiate game as well as directing camps. Zakowicz brings with him a record of 192-104-19 and has led his teams to 1 National Championship, 3 Region Championships, and 9 Conference (regular season and tournament) Championships. Additionally, he has coached 27 All-Americans, and 12 former players are currently coaching at the collegiate level. He was named as the NSCAA/NCCAA National Coach of the Year in 2005. He was also named as the Region COY a total of ten times, and as Conference COY 5 times. He has led his teams to several NAIA Top 25 finishes.
Coach Dan Chilton
Director
Coach Chilton, a native of Darlington, England, has several years of camp experience as a camp director and as a camp clinician. Chilton played for Zakowicz while at Mid-Continent Unversity. While at MCU, he was named as an Honorable Mention All-American. He helped lead the Cougars to two Region Championships during his time at MCU, scoring the winning goal in the 2007 NAIA Region XI Championship against Lindsey Wilson College. He played two years at the PDL level and brings with him a wealth of experiences from the U.J. He brings an unbridled passions to the field, and will be an assistant coach under Zakowicz with the Ave Maria Men's Soccer Program this year.
