Southeastern Defeats AMU 0-6 in a Sun Conference Match-up Wednesday

The Ave Maria University Women's Soccer Team suffered their third loss of the season to put their overall record at 3-3-1. The Southeastern Fire defeated AMU by a final score of 0-6.

Southeastern University scored first on a goal by Melissa Kennedy two minutes into the game. Kennedy had 4 goals in the game. Despite the 6 goals against the Gyrenes, AMU goalkeeper Tess Wallace had 8 saves, and the Gyrenes defended well in the first period. The Fire silenced AMU when they added 3 more goals in the second period to secure the win.

The Women's Soccer Team will play Saturday, October 3rd in Temple Terrace, FL against Florida College. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
