Kathryn Knauss has signed a Letter of Intent to play for the Ave Maria University Women's Soccer Team next season.
Knauss, who will help solidy the Lady Gyrene defense next year, comes to Ave Maria with much success at the high school level. She has played left defense and sweeper for the eleven years she has been playing the sport. While in high school, Knauss played for two teams; the Troy Soccer Club Wildcats and Summit, a home school sports academy. At the National Home School Championship in 2009, Knauss received a Division I All-Star Award. She was also named team captain for Summit in 2009.
AMU is excited to announce her signing and looks forward to having her on campus. Kathryn's character and athleticism make for a great addition to the Lady Gyrenes' soccer program.
